regarding your experiments and the discussion it has prompted, I am willing to talk. Our guild is a small one, and at the moment I'm the only active member with the gm herb skill to which our profession is limited. However this does include some rare
ones and yes, I have stuck by the old 25 pick and plant rule and yes, I do find the current situation, very irritating at times. I can pick breldiar to increase my magic attacks and defend against seers but when i visit the marshes, I find having the
skill ineffectual. When I forage in a valley loc and find 31 lestagii, I am in ecstasy, I can have 6!
Plaman also made valid points but regarding kelventari, and sata to for that matter, although they are forest loc herbs are not necessarily widespread due to the great variety of forest herbs and I know from extensive searching, they are not currently
abundant. More so than erasmus to be sure, but then most of us with spitting paranoia go through 10 or 15 kelv a session without seeing an erasmus spit, simply through an addiction to waxing.
Anyway if other herb gms are willing to come on board, we can take this discussion elsewhere adn leave folk to the slagging they love. Zheredan.
