Personally, I think the fastest way to come up with the definitive algorithm for herb/poison regrowth would be to get one of us ordained and into a coder position.

Moreover, MUST we know exactly how the blasted plants regenerate to come up with a nice compromise between the picking guilds?

It seems the rate of new batches per unit of time gets higher with the number of batches already in the location.

So, ideally, we'd have the discipline to distribute a given herb to every location of a suitable environment type, let it grow to 55 or so and keep the count between that and sixty.

I'd like to see that happen.

It doesn't matter a pair of dingo's kidneys how compelling the facts and assumptions are as long as not every single one of us feels inclined to let his picking be dictated by the concern for the common good.

There will always be selfish individualists, and the sterner our rules, the more room they'll have to break them and further their own causes.

Let's see some more cooperation between the guilds to work out what we can realistically expect from people, and set guidelines accordingly.
