Fighting is not about sport, or honour, it is about winning, by any
means neccessary. Of course, there is a certain level of satisfaction
that comes from beating an enemy single handed, and once upon a time I
though there was no greater glory than to win a challenge alone.
However, FOUR YEARS of being TEAMED by those who are now spouting the
'code of honour' bull (because they are now on the receiving rather
than the giving end) taught me that there is NO place in Avalon for
honour. It is a weakness, and one that I have seen supposed 'good and
honourable' fighters take advantage off, swooping in to take revenge upon
their enemies the INSTANT they are out of challenge.
The heavens remain silent on this matter, and perhaps we should too,
except to give gentle applasuse to the ultimate winners...
There is no Glory, there is only Victory.
