As Avalon compares to other muds, Avalon is really the same. Its a
collection of code, somewhat more advanced than others, but in
truth it really is another MUD. Im not sure its the \"best\" out there
but it is my favorite to play. A Mob is not slang for a CCC, its a
shortened Mobile, which is what the makers of the original muds called
the NPCs (oooh paper rpg slang!!)
Roleplaying is the playing of a role, just as in \"real\" life. You are
supposed to play a seperate personality, with different morals and beliefs
viewpoints and goals than the human playing the role. If your character
is a pacifist and whats to live in peace then thats his role. If he is
bloodthirsty madman that kills at a glance then thats his role. You cant
really complain about anyones roleplaying because it is one of those subjective
ideas that only contains opinions, not facts. To answer the question, your
roleplaying should deal with EVERY action your character takes, but it is truly
limited by the mechanics of the game world we play our roles in. You can't grow
bigger than the physical boundaries imposed by the world of Avalon. Anyway hope
ive been semi-helpful :) But as some have said their are other muds other than
Avalon out there. They are different, not better or worse, invented for different
purposes than Avalon was. Try some of them out, you might have fun.
