Today I was speaking to a novice who felt that player killing (or PK as he put it
in his base mudders slang) wasn't real role-playing (RPG in said same slang). This
is a view held by most non-Avalon players who have been deadened by lp muds and the
like.
I was wondering, if you played a different mud before Avalon (and you will find that
very few Avalon players have experience of another mud before Avalon) what are your
views on this silly role playing statement?
And what really is role-playing in the environment of Avalon?
