I wasn't actually aware that I was decrying demonology in particular!
Far from it, without it, what use would sorcerers be, in any roleplaying
sense? Of course demonology should exist, and more power to it. On the
other hand, what I was getting at was the relative ease of massing armies
via demonology, and if I'm wrong about that, then hey! Not the first time
I've been wrong. Some people feel that every credbuy I execute is a mistake.
Of course, I just tell them to screw themselves, and plot how I can most
easily assassinate them, without working up a sweat. Burning wax CERTAINLY
seems like a viable method, Savannah, and I shall endeavour, especially in the
case of Tynian, to master it. But really, my complaints about demons are
moot, because as we all know, if you just keep trashing the cauldrons, the
demons must, of necessity, go away. Tired of demons? Go for the cauldrons.
Too hard to get cauldrons, you say? Well, I've seen it done, and I've even
cheerfully offered a cauldron or two, on occasion. So, with no disrespect
intended to the memory of Blodwyn, or of Isildur, or anybody else who learns
to love fighting in Avalon, and demonstrates competence in it: There's always
some very, very easy way to defeat anybody. It just happens to be very, very
easy to figure this out, when you have decent demonology... Simplest ways to
defeat Panaideos? Wait for him to get so frustrated at his lack of ordination
that he burns himself out.
