Jarok,
Is it not the purpose of the Immortals to see things from a different perspective from us who walk the land, live, and die?
While the Gods were once mortal, their place and their role is to look at a longer view, see a bigger picture, and to associate themselves on our continent - through those they choose to talk to, those they respect, and through the objectives they set
their own Orders.
I for one have not had a problem of communication. Perhaps you should ensure two things. Firstly that your actions and knowledge demonstrate that you are someone who is worth listening to and worth responding to.
Secondly that what you say when you say it is well thought-out and efficiently communicated.
And do not think that because they choose not to explain their purposes or answer every point you make, they have not heard.
The Gods choose their actions according to their wishes and their own purposes. Where there is no divine purpose evident to you, do not see it as an emptiness in the land, but rather see it as an opportunity for you to fill it.
The rewards for good role-playing are there for you already. The good role-player is respected by their opponents and allies for more than their fighting ability or knowledge of the land.
The good role-player is inspirational - it is through your demonstration of courage in the face of adversity that you will make the young stay in the land and fight it out, not any protection given or divine orders for safety enforced.
The young are indeed the life-blood of our land, but numbers have not fallen during this \"bloodbath\", any more than from previous bloodbaths. Teach, protect, and inspire by your example, and the young will not just join Avalon, but will join you, foll
ow you, and respect you.
That is how legends are made.
