Elbethamore - That's a great strategy against decomposition, however, it makes Animists invulnerable.
Being practically a non-entity, I am sure thou hast never had an Animist interfere in a fight of thine. However, they stick their cowardly noses in my fights daily. Never did I kill or even attack an Animist until they decided to provoke me.
Kilthas - I don't mind horribly that the Animists are so overpowered. There are so few that provide me any challenge, it is nice to fight someone much better equipped.
If thou read back, thou will discover that what started this whole argument was Fizzy whining about being killed, and my responce that he has NO excuse for being beaten except his own amazing incompetence.
I am glad that some Animists fight back against me, though I would be willing to leave them in peace, if they just did not interfere with my fights.
I don't believe thy trigger idea would work, but even if it did, it wouldn't stop leaves.
Of course a run of the mill Animist is going to fall easily. They are incompetent because they do not need to be good to wield their incredible skills for the most part.
I wonder how many Animists thou hast killed, that they all fell with equal ease.
