Lots of professions have abilities to help them get away from difficult situations Arthor, and animists are no different. Loremasters can fly, Mages portal, Seers traverse, Sorcerors gate and Knights can run away.

Oh and btw, Sorcerors appear to be able to kill pretty much instantly too.
