So, in case the deities are actually paying attention to this. *grin* Does anyone have any specifics on how they'd like the duelist league to work?
The suggestion I had is that it be based on kills, but if you're just starting out, there's little chance you'll kill anyone. When in a challenge, whether you win or lose, you get a little message saying something like, \"The challenge with so and so is no more. \" If, at that point, that challenge could be counted, the way that quests are in the pacifist league, you could then be ranked, and at the end of the year, you get some sort of reward, like the 50 lessons the victor in the pw league gets.
What do you all think?
Note, there are far nastier suggestions that disreward not challenging, such as making it so that you lose experience after a certain length of time not challenging, or that you lose duellism if you don't issue challenges, or that your skills drop at a constant rate unless you challenge, etc, etc.
I think, however, in this instance, a caret is better than a stick.
