A family member found Avalon and suggested to me I would like it. I started out a Thakrian by default and worked my way through the accolades with no help at all from any Thakrian. I read all the guilds and decided what i wished to be was a Warrior, so I stood alone on the steps of the Thakrian Institute and shouted that I wanted to be a Warrior.
A white knight named Bedivere came and took me to Parrius and guided me through my first steps, outfitting me and introducing me to Warriors. And what a group they were!! I was totally befuddled by the land and how large it seemed and how to do ANYTHING!! I seemed to become the \"Guild Pet\" of Warriors, happily nurtured by the members and rescued constantly!! My first taste of \"nasty thakrians\" was a sorcerer who killed me when I was just a week old and still very LW.
Now, 315 years later, I still look back at my beginnings as wonderful and exciting times. Bedivere was my idol and Saxe the most wonderful Thakrian (no one i have seen roleplayed like he did). And the City of Parrius became my home then, as it is now.
